Mariners Daily 3/13

Well it definitely wasn't the greatest game for the M's who lost to the Brewers 24-3. Pitching was abysmal today and the offense came mostly off of the long ball and on top of that the offense barely showed up today.

Only 2 pitchers didn't allow a run today for the Mariners, Mark Rzepzcynski and Nick Hagadone who pitched the 7th and 8th innings going for a combined 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 SO. Unfortunately the M's had multiple pitchers give up a lot of runs on a short period of time. Hisashi Iwakuma gave up 7 earned runs in 2.2 innings of work, Evan Scribner gave up 1 un-earned run in 0.1 innings, Ryan Weber gave up 8 earned runs in 0.1 innings, Brett Ash gave up 7 earned runs in 1.0 Innings and Dean Keikhefer allowed 1 run in 1.2 innings of work.

Offensively only Ben Gamel and Daniel Vogelbach accounted for the 3 RBIs. Ben Gamel hit a solo homerun in the 1st before everything came cascading down on them. Later in the game Vogelbach also homered to the opposite field and that ended any of the Mariners offensive production for the day. The Mariners had some bad offensive numbers today, recording just 3 runs on 6 hits and had only 1 man ever get into scoring position going 0-1 RISP, they did however get another stolen base.

Once again, however, the Mariners committed an error. This time it was Shawn O'Malley but this continues the bad streai of consecutive game in which the Mariners have committed an error.
