NFL Week 10 Look Forward

No, this is not the NFL article I was originally going to post today. But, I decided to try something different, so instead I will be looking ahead at week 10. I am not saying that NFL Winners and Losers are gone forever, just this week to test it out. Now, onto the article.

Game of the week: Panthers (5-2-1) vs Steelers (5-2)

The game of the week in my opinion is the Carolina Panthers vs the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams are over .500 and battling for their respective division titles. Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton have really improved over the course of the season for the Panthers. While James Conner has been a excellent replacement for camp absentee Le'Veon Bell. Through his first 8 games, Conner has had more rushing yards and touchdowns than Bell did through eight games last season. Both teams are pretty even, and whoever wins gets a huge morale boost for the second half of the season.

Easiest win: Chiefs (8-1) vs Cardinals (2-6)

I was debating on whether to do this game or Chargers vs Raiders, but the Raiders are at home, so maybe, just maybe they will get close. But for the this game, I see the Chiefs winning by at least twenty points. Kansas City have the potential MVP in Patrick Mahomes, going against an Arizona Cardinals defense who have been less than average. While on the other side of the ball, it is a horrible Arizona offense going up against a bad Kansas City defense, so it is possible. To be honest though, I see Kansas City getting another win this week.

Potential upset: Titans (4-4) vs Patriots (7-2)

Right now in Vegas, the New England Patriots are 6.5 point favorites over the Tennessee Titans. I see the Titans potentially upsetting them. The Titans defense has been strong this season, allowing the lowest amount of points in the NFL (141). Tom Brady has not had his best season, having most stats fall under last season. If they do pull it off, it will be because Marcus Mariota poise and maturity. At times, he has made bad throws, costing his team points and even a win or two. But if he can remain calm, I see the Titans getting over .500.

I hope to see: Dez Bryant play the full game

Early Wednesday, it was reported that WR Dez Bryant had signed a contract for the New Orleans Saints. He is truly talented and deserves to be in the NFL. The one thing that worries me is his character. At times, he can let his emotions get the best of him, and he doesn't perform as well as he should. Hopefully a new start in "The City of Second Chances" gives him the second chance in his career that he deserves.
