NFL Week 11 Look Ahead

Game of the week: Rams (9-1) vs Chiefs (9-1)

This weekend we perhaps have the biggest game of the season, when the LA Rams face the Kansas City Chiefs in LA. Originally, the game was going to be hosted in Mexico, but poor field conditions have forced the NFL to move the game to LA. The Kansas City Chiefs have looked consistent and have been improving each week. On the other end, the LA has looked shaky, with their previous three games being nail-bitters with them losing one. This is not David versus Goliath, this is Goliath going up against another Goliath. The winner of this game can possibly call themselves the team to beat the rest of the season, with both teams on top of their respective conference. The question for me will be which defense will be the x-factor, because whichever defense shows up, their team will probably win on Sunday.

Easiest win: Chargers (7-2) vs Broncos (3-6)

When I gave a glance on this week's schedule, there was very few options for easiest win and potential upset. Most games are between teams with similar records, so there wasn't many lopsided match-ups. So, I decided to have my lock as the LA Chargers defeating the Denver Broncos. LA has been one of the most surprising teams this season, and I don't see them slowing down. RB Melvin Gordon has looked spectacular and the defense has been one of the best in the NFL, only allowing 186 points in nine games. My prediction for the game is the Chargers to blow out Denver and LA will improve to 8-2.

Potential upset: Lions (3-6) vs Panthers (6-3)

I believe that the Detroit Lions will upset the Carolina Panthers at home this weekend. Personally, I think the Lions deserve to be better than three games under .500, they just cannot finish games. Some thought they would start throwing games once star WR Golden Tate got traded, but they still are remaining competitive. Carolina has looked shaky at time, but this upset is more of a long shot than anything.

I hope to see: Packers RB Adam Jones to have a repeat performance as great as last week

In Green Bay's game last week against Miami, Adam Jones had a career best performance. It has been an up and down season for the Packers, being 4-4-1 and battling for the NFC North. It is nice to see someone like Jones come back after a suspension and succeed. Aaron Rodgers has been waiting for a back who can support the offense, but I hope to see Jones not just help, but take over the offense for a second week in a row. Also, Green Bay needs to win the majority of their games to possibly make the playoff, and Jones could be a key factor.
