Blackhawks Stay Hot

Chicago is starting to feel its championship groove right now. They have won the last 9 out of 10 games, including a 4 to 2 victory over arch rivals St. Louis.

Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane scored two early goals for the Blackhawks. Magnus Paajarvi scored the Blues only goal in the first-period.

Alex Pietrangelo tied the game at 2 for St. Louis in the second-period. Artem Anisimov scored the game-winning goal for Chicago with 5:20 remaining in the game.

Tanner Kero scored an empty-net goal with 3 seconds remaining for the Blackhawks.

Both goalies were fantastic. Scott Darling stopped 30 shots for the Blackhawks. Jake Allen stopped 38 shots for the Blues. Chicago won the season series 3-2, but it is very possible these teams could meet again in the postseason.
