The Chicago White Sox are a team that hasn't made the playoffs since the 2008 season. They won the World Series in 2005. Ever since those moments, the White Sox can't seem to find an identity. However, this team has a bright future written all over it.

Chicago's record this season is 41-67, which is the second worst in the MLB. If this continues they will have the number two pick in the 2018 MLB Draft. They have also gotten solid prospects in trades as well.

Yoan Moncada is a second baseman and he is ranked as the number one prospect on MLB.com. In the minors this season, his batting average was .282 with 12 homeruns and 36 RBI's, along with 17 stolen bases.

In 112.2 innings pitched, Kopech has walked 58 batters but has struck out 145.

Blake Rutherford is ranked fifth on the top 30 prospects list for the White Sox. He is an outfielder. Rutherford is projected to reach the majors in 2020. Zack Collins is ranked tenth on the top 30 prospects list for Chicago. He is a catcher and Collins is projected to reach the major leagues in 2018. His batting average is .213 with 16 homeruns and 45 RBI's.

Dane Dunning is ranked eleventh on the top 30 prospects list for Chicago. He is a right handed pitcher and Dunning is projected to reach the major leagues in 2019. His record is 6-5 with a 2.65 ERA. In 112 innings pitched, Dunning has walked 30 batters and struck out 129.

Casey Gillaspie is ranked fourteenth on the top 30 prospects list for the White Sox. He is a first baseman and Gillaspie is projected to reach the majors this season. His batting average is .228 with 9 homeruns and 44 RBI's, along with one stolen base.

The White Sox are going to struggle for the remainder of the season and possibly next season as well, but in 2019 and beyond, they could have a very good young team with a plethora of pitching.
