Dodgers Explode for 5 Runs in Ninth; Even Series

With the game tied at one in the ninth inning, the Los Angeles Dodgers needed a timely hit in the worst way. Cody Bellinger was locked in and he smoked an RBI double to the outfield and it eventually led to five runs for the Dodgers in the ninth inning. Los Angeles defeated Houston 6-2 and the series is tied at 2.

George Springer hit a solo homer for the Astros in the sixth inning. It was the first hit given up by Alex Wood and then he was pulled from the game. Logan Forsythe hit an RBI single for the Dodgers in the seventh inning to tie the game.

Austin Barnes hit a sacrifice fly for the Dodgers in the ninth. Joc Pederson put the icing on the cake for Los Angeles with a three-run homer and then he yelled, "You Like That?"

Alex Bregman hit a solo homer in the ninth for the Astros. Tony Watson was the winning pitcher for the Dodgers. He pitched an inning. Ken Giles was the losing pitcher for the Astros. He didn't record an out and Giles gave up two hits three runs and a walk.

Game five of this series will be tomorrow night in Houston.
