Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, was sidelined due to a knee injury. Matt Moore's 236 passing yards 4 touchdowns and 1 interception sparked the Dolphins to a 34 to 13 victory over the New York Jets.

It seemed like the Dolphins fell into a trap early when Bryce Petty threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Robby Anderson. Anderson finished with 4 catches for 80 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. Petty finished with 235 passing yards 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.

The Jets moved the ball at will on the Dolphins on its first three possessions, but two of them resulted in turnovers (fumble and interception). In the second quarter, Matt Moore threw two touchdown passes to Dion Sims (1-yard) and Kenny Stills (52 yards).

With the Dolphins up 13 to 10 in the third-quarter, Walt Aikens blocked and returned the punt 11 yards for a Dolphins touchdown. Later in the period, Moore threw two more touchdown passes to Dion Sims (1-yard) and Jarvis Landry (66 yards).

Landry finished with 3 catches for 108 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. They currently hold the number 6 seed in the AFC. If the Broncos win tomorrow, Denver will momentarily be the 6 seed in the AFC. If New England beats them, Miami will be the 6 seed for another week..for now. The Dolphins will travel to the Buffalo Bills (6-7) next Saturday.
