With Derek Carr breaking his leg in week 16 against the Indianapolis Colts last season, it dashed the Raiders super bowl hopes. This season, they know they have unfinished business to take care of.

Yes they are more than likely to be moving to Las Vegas in a couple of seasons, but the Raiders know they have to focus on the present. Derek Carr will be the starting quarterback. Connor Cook and EJ Manuel will compete for the backup job.

Beast mode has decided to come out of retirement and play for the Oakland Raiders. Marshawn Lynch will make a major impact in the Raiders offense. Jalen Richard will be the second running back. DeAndre Washington will be the third running back. Taiwan Jones, Elijah Hood, and John Crockett will compete for the final running back spot on the roster.

Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree is a solid one two combination at wide receiver. Seth Roberts is a reliable number three receiver. Cordarrelle Patterson will be the number four receiver. KJ Brent, Johnny Holton, Jaydon Mickens, Ishmael Zamora, Keon Hatcher, and Isaac Whitney will compete for the final two wide receiver spots on the roster.

Jared Cook, Lee Smith, and Clive Walford will be the three tight ends that make the roster.

The starting offensive line should be Donald Penn, Kelechi Osemele, Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson, and Marshall Newhouse. Austin Howard will compete for a starting spot on the offensive line and so Jon Feliciano.

Mario Edwards Jr., Darius Latham, and Justin Ellis will be the starters on the defensive line. Rookies Eddie Vanderdoes and Treyvon Hester could make a major impact on defense this season as well.

Sack master Khalil Mack, Bruce Irvin, Cory James, and Jelani Jenkins will be the starters at linebacker. Ben Heeney and Shilique Calhoun could make an impact as well at linebacker this season.

The secondary has the most upside on this Raiders team this season. The starters will probably be David Amerson, Karl Joseph, Reggie Nelson, and Sean Smith. Rookies Garon Conley and Obi Melifonwu have a chance to upgrade this secondary in a hurry as well.

Sebastian Janikowski will be the Raiders kicker. Marquette King will be the Raiders punter. Cordarrelle Patterson will be the team's kick returner. Jalen Richard will be the team's punt returner.

The Raiders will be a team on a mission this season.
