Packers Slice Giants

When Jordy Nelson left the game with a rib injury for the Green Bay Packers, it seemed as if the offense got rolling after that. Aaron Rodgers threw for 362 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 38 to 13 victory over the New York Giants.

With the Packers trailing 6 to 0 in the second-quarter, Rodgers threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams. Adams finished with 8 catches for 125 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. With 6 seconds remaining in the first half, Aaron Rodgers threw a 42-yard touchdown Hail Mary to Randall Cobb.

In the third quarter, the Giants stuffed Ty Montgomery on a 4th-and-one in Green Bay's own territory. Two plays later, Eli Manning threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Tavarres King. Manning finished with 299 passing yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception. King finished with 3 catches for 73 yards receiving and 1 touchdown.

He was the best Giants receiver in the game. It seemed like Odell Beckham Jr., Sterling Shepard, and Victor Cruz  forgot to bring there receiving hands to the game after the trip to Miami. How about preparing for the playoffs instead and caring about winning instead of yourselves? Beckham Jr. had 4 catches for 28 yards, Cruz with 3 catches for 30 yards, and Shepard 4 catches for 63 yards receiving.

The Packers would respond on another Randall Cobb touchdown from 30 yards out. With the Packers up 24 to 13 in the fourth-quarter, Randall Cobb had a 16-yard touchdown reception. He finished with 5 catches for 116 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns. Green Bay scored one more touchdown by Aaron Ripkowski on a 1-yard rush. The Green Bay Packers will travel to Dallas (13-3) next Sunday for the NFC Divisional Round.
