P.K. Subban guaranteed a Predators victory in game 3 before the game began. Would it translate onto the ice? They got off to a slow start, but the Nashville Predators won 5 to 1. It was their first Stanley Cup game victory in franchise history.

Jake Guentzel scored the lone goal for the Pittsburgh Penguins 2:46 into the game. Roman Josi (power play), Frederick Gaudreau, and James Neal scored for the Predators in the second-period.

Craig Smith and Mattias Ekholm (power play) scored for Nashville in the third-period.

Pekka Rinne had a solid bounce back game with 27 saves for the Predators. Matt Murray made 28 saves for the Penguins. Pittsburgh leads the series 2-1 and game 4 is on Monday Night in Nashville.
