Ravens Defense Strong Once again in win over Texans

The Baltimore Ravens defense was strong once again with two sacks, two interceptions, and once forced fumble in a 23-16 victory over the Houston Texans.

In the first quarter, Lamar Miller scored on a 4-yard touchdown run for the Texans. He finished with 51 yards rushing on 17 carries and a touchdown. Miller also caught a pass for seven yards receiving.

In the second quarter, the Ravens scored touchdowns thanks to Javorius Allen (10-yard rush) and Alex Collins (8-yard rush). Allen rushed for 15 yards on five carries and a score. Allen also had a catch for two yards receiving. Collins rushed for 60 yards on 18 carries and a score. Allen and Collins is turning into a reliable back field for the Ravens.

Ka'imi Fairbairn made three field goals for the Texans (25, 36, and 37 yards). Justin Tucker made three field goals for the Ravens (53, 31, and 49 yards).

Tom Savage completed 22-of-37 passes for 252 yards and two interceptions. DeAndre Hopkins was the Texans leading receiver with seven catches for 125 yards.

Joe Flacco completed 20-of-32 passes for 141 yards. He also rushed for 42 yards on six carries. Mike Wallace was the Ravens leading receiver with five receptions for 48 yards.

The Texans will be on the road against the Tennessee Titans (7-4) next Sunday and the Ravens will host the Detroit Lions (6-5) next Sunday.
