Warriors Win Second Title in Last Three Seasons

For the second consecutive season, the Golden State Warriors had a series 3-1 series lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers heading into game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Warriors were hoping history wouldn't repeat itself once again. Golden State won game 5 over Cleveland 129 to 120.

This is the Warriors second title in the past three seasons. Kevin Durant was named Finals MVP. He scored 39 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for Golden State. Steph Curry scored 34 points and had 10 assists. Andre Iguodala scored 20 points off the bench.

Lebron James scored 41 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and had 8 assists for the Cavs. J.R. Smith scored 25 points and he drilled 7 3's. Kyrie Irving scored 26 points.

Golden State finished the postseason with a record of 16-1. This team could become a dynasty.
