Greg Bird's solo homerun is the only run the New York Yankees would need in game 3 against the Cleveland Indians. The Yankees survive another day.

Mashario Tanaka was the winning pitcher for the Yankees and he was dealing on Sunday Night. Tanaka pitched 7 strong innings and only gave up 3 hits. He only walked a batter and struck out 7.

Andrew Miller was the losing pitcher for the Indians. He pitched 0.2 innings and gave up a hit and a run.

Aroldis Chapman picked up the save for New York. He pitched 1.2 innings and gave up 2 hits and struck out 4 batters. Game 4 is tonight in New York. The Indians will try to put away the Yankees once again.
