Analyzing Phoenix - Drivers Who Are Hot (And Not) In The Desert

NASCAR continues it's west coast swing after leaving a rainy, windy, freakish dust storm-ridden Las Vegas and heading to the valley of the sun - Phoenix International Raceway. A one mile track that saw Harvick sweep both poles in last years races and has seen it's fair share of changes, like concrete pit stalls on pit road (instead of asphalt), so drivers need to be careful not to spin their tires coming into or exiting from their boxes. Last year's November race was rain shortened, only 1 of2 times Mother Nature played a factor in the outcome.

With a whopping 7 wins under his belt, Kevin Harvick has to be the heaving favorite going into week # 4. Team Hendrick follows a close second with 4 wins and 3 wins each.  Here are the power rankings for this Sunday's Good Sam 500:
