Club Update- January
Hope everyone had an awesome break and enjoyed the Jackets historic 16-game winning streak!
There are multiple updates in this email, sorry if its a little long, like the win streak.
Our first game this semester will be Saturday, January 21st at 5:00pm against the Carolina Hurricanes. Because the Jackets are actually good now, we need to get a head count and order tickets earlier than usual, so please let us know by this Saturday, January 14th if you are going to attend. Tickets are $20, Venmo @CBJatOSU (Yasmin Jimenez) with the subject "Hurricanes game ticket" to confirm your attendance.
Our next event will be a watch party Friday, February 3rd at 7:00pm where we'll watch the Jackets (hopefully) trounce the Penguins again! Unlike previous watch parties, we will try to rent a room on campus and food and drinks will be provided (aka free so you should definitely be there). More details to come.
Our February game outing will be Saturday, February 11th at 5:00pm against the Detroit Red Wings. Again, since the Jackets are actually good (and will ideally still be good at that point), the deadline to sign up for the game will be Wednesday, January 25th. To sign up, Venmo @CBJatOSU (Yasmin Jimenez) $20 with the subject line "Red Wings game ticket".
Just as a heads up: We are planning on attending Ohio State night at Nationwide on Thursday, March 2nd at 7:00pm against Minnesota. We are hoping for a huge turnout for this event, and many more details are to come. For now, just block off March 2nd in your calendar if you can.
