The statement comes a little more than three hours after Johnson confirmed to NFL Insider Jay Glazer, that he tested positive for peptide -- which is a performance enhancing drug. Below is what Glazer tweeted out
"Just heard from Lane Johnson, says he took an amino acid that was approved but tested positive for peptide, Fighting it as well as company. You're responsible for what goes in your body but he insists it was approved. Waiting on B sample."
This statement doesn't really shed a whole lot of light on the situation. The investigation into this alleged report is ongoing, and further details will be revealed as they become available.
