Sixers Suspend Rookie Star Jahlil Okafor for Off-Court Incident!

Last Wednesday night, a TMZ sports video hit the news outlet of Sixers' rookie star center, Jahlil Okafor getting into a fight at a Boston nighclub. The video that came out last week showed him knocking out a guy. Then earlier today a second video came out of him in another fight where a man was also knocked out but he was bleeding. A witness said it was Okafor that punched the guy but it hasn't been confirmed. The Boston Police is investgating the incident. Myeshia Henderson a Boston police spokesman issued a statement about the incident to USA Today.

First video that came out last Wednesday:

Second video that came out today:

The second alleged victim hasn't come forward said Henderson to USA Today.

Henderson said the second assault is part of Boston Police Department's active investigation, "launched last week after the first alleged victim failed a report. "We are urging anyone with information to come forward. "Henderson said.
"Jahlil is a very important part of our organization and our future. While we are disappointed with his recent actions, we have faith in him as a valued member of the Sixers. We will provide the necessary resources to support him on his journey and will do our part to help him succeed both on and off the court'.

I thought the Sixers should of suspended him for a few games after the first video came out not only for the video but for underage drinking. Not for the second video. The problem is they don't have anybody to give him guidance, they don't have any veteran leadership. Okafor is probably a good kid but he just needs that guidance. He's not use to losing like this, he won the NCAA National championship last season with Duke. I would suggest maybe calling Coach K and have him talked to him, get one a former Sixer like Dr. J (Julius Erving) or Aaron Mckie. The Sixers should of suspended him for at least five games, two games is not enough games. Hopefully this sends a message to him and he can mature. He needs to learn how to be a pro athlete and learn to control himself. Sixers' General Manager, Sam Hinkie hasn't even address this issue, he should be talking to the media and make a statement it's not the hard. Hinkie is the guy that put this "young" team together.
