Hi everybody. The Columbus Blue Jackets Made a HUGE STATEMENT on Thursday night by giving a BEATDOWN to the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-1 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus. It didn't look good for Columbus early in the game. As 3 minutes into the game Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby found the back of the net. It was the only goal for Pittsburgh all night. Scott HARTNELL had a Hat-Trick. Cam Atkinson, William KARLSSON, Brandon SAAD, and Boone Jenner each had a goal in the BEATDOWN at Nationwide.

It was one of the best BEATDOWNS I have ever seen in the History of the Blue Jackets.  Columbus Coach John TORTELLA said afterwards " We were not nervous at all going in because I had told my team to prepare for this moment. We were ready to play and they weren't bottom line. We are now in 1st place in the Metropolitan Division and I hope we can stay there for at least a good long while." Well the Blue Jackets did it. I don't know how but they did it. They are in 1st place in the Division. Here's my take, The Penguins are singing the Blues this morning. Sidney Crosby is probably throwing a Grayson Allen type temper tantrum this morning after the way the Penguins played last night. And am I on cloud nine this morning. The Blue Jackets are in 1st place in the Division after everybody once again wrote them off. Here's the next Question can they keep it going. Well we will see because they have the Montreal CANADIENS coming to town on Friday. As for the Pittsburgh Penguins they need to snap out of this now. And Sidney Crosby needs to quit crying like a baby or quit throwing a Grayson Allen type Tantrum now. Why You ask because they have the New Jersey Devils coming to town tonight. But I will say this in closing, The Columbus Blue Jackets, 1st place in the Metropolitan Division that has a really nice ring to it. I will say this in closing, the Blue Jackets just need to keep on Winning or they need the New York Rangers or Pittsburgh [Penguins to hit a slump. If that happens the Blue Jackets will win the Division. I know it's early but Columbus you better Believe in your Blue Jackets because they are REALLY GOING TO MAKE A LOT OF NOISE.
