CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES.
Hi everybody. The Cubs have won the World Series for the 1st time since 1908. This comes as a result of an 8-7 victory in 10 innings in game 7 on Wednesday night over the Cleveland Indians. Ben ZORBRIST was named MVP batting .391 in the series. He got the game winning Double in the top of the 10th. AROLDIS Chapman got the win. Bryan Shaw got the loss. Mike Montgomery got the save in game 7.
I don't know if it was Define Intervention. But during a rain Delay in the 10th. Jason Heyward called a meeting in the Cubs Doug out. Heyward said " Don hang your heads. We have had a great season so go out there and Bring this home for the City of Chicago. Don't give up now. We have a chance to be World Champs.
To the Chicago Cubs I want to say CONGRATULATIONS for wining the World Series. It's your first series
win since 1908. The Curse of the Billy Goat has been put to rest. To Joe MADDON, the Manage of the Cubs my hats off to you. You are a great Manager. Theo Epstein who took over the team in 2011 I say to you. You are the best owner I have ever seen in sports you made a lot of changes to this ball club and you have done it again. You have turned one of the most storied franchises form a loser to a winner. You get some of the credit. A lot of the Credit goes to the team. You guys were a joy to watch during the postseason and in the regular season. When you guys started the season 25-and-6 to open the season I said we might see the Cubs in the World Series And I was right. As far as I'm concerned the entire team and the organization is the MVP. I'm talking about. From ownership, to the Manger Joe MADDON. This team did everything they came out of a 3-1 hole to win it all. So once again My Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs, 2016 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS.
To the Cleveland Indians I say this. You guys have nothing to hang your heads about. Look at what you guys had to go through. You Loss Michael Brantley at the start of the season. You lost one of your best Pitchers in Danny Salazar. You had to fight through injuries all season long. You guys were the underdogs going into the season. Nobody expected you to be there. But to come up 1 run short in extra innings in game 7 of the World Series. You have nothing to be ashamed about and to the Indians I say Congratulations for a great season and you guys will be back better than ever next year.
Here's My take, This was one of the best World Series I have seen in years. These were 2 teams that were evenly matched in the Fall Classic. This was a series that could have gone either way. In the end it was the Chicago Cubs that came out on top in one of the Greatest World Series ever played Bottom Line. This had the Making of a 7 game fall classic and it lived up to the hype in a BIG WAY!!!!!. SO CHICAGO PARTY LIKE IT'S 1908.
In closing have one last thing to address about the 2016 World Series. And it's this STUPID GOOF BALL Joe Buck. I have never seen in my years of watching the World Series somebody kiss up to the Chicago Cubs like this dumb little Cleveland hater did. All he did was kiss up to Kyle SCHWARBER even if he didn't play. He gave no respect to Cleveland at all during the World Series. And in my opinion he might as well be working for FOX sports Chicago. Hey Joe let me tell you something. I watched your father Jack Buck, call the World Series for CBS. Case in point in game 6 in the 91 world series after Kirby Puckett hit the home run in game 6 he didn't say GO CRAZT FOLKS GO CRAZY. He was fair and down the middle. And in game 7 after the Twins beat the Braves he didn't scream THAT'S A WINNER. THAT'S A WORLD SERIES WINNER. He was fair and down the middle. He never made a fool of himself like you did this year. And one last thing Joe Buck my name is Scott Manning and I live in Columbus Ohio. But I have been a Cleveland fan all my life. And the way you made Indians fans feel you should be ashamed of yourself and I hope Leon Bibb of WEWS TV Channel 5 in Cleveland lay into you like he did TBS. But if Leon can't I will say this. Hey Joe why don't you comeback to Cleveland and we will talk about the way you made Cleveland sports fans feel. And I will say this in closing you are the BIGGEST CLEVELAND HATTER I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL. And you should be fired from Fox sports. And one last thing you will have no Friends in Cleveland and I pray that somebody SLAPS THE TASTE RIGHT OUT OF YOU MOUTH AND YOU LAND IN THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
