Ex-Cub pitches 2 hitter,Dodgers Lead series 2-1

Hi everybody. The Los Angeles Dodgers took a 2-1 series lead in the NLCS as a result of a 6-0 shutout over the Chicago Cubs. Dodgers Ace Rich Hill was impressive pitching 6 scoreless innings only allowing 2 hits, 2 walks and he had 6 strikeouts. On a side note at one time Hill was a member of the Cubs form 2005-2008.

The Dodgers did have some offensive spark last night as well. Justin Turner had a home run along with JOC Pedersen. Cubs Manager Joe MADDON was at a lost for words for the first time in a long time after the shutout. He said " I just don't know what to say our offense has sputtered since game 1 and I just don't know what to do. We have ran into the toughest pitchers in the Dodgers Rotation and they have had our number in the last 2 games." On a side note this is the first time since MAY 27-28 that the Cubs have been handed back-to-back shutout losses.

If you are thinking about booking a Cleveland to Chicago flight I would strongly recommend you re-think that and here's why. The Cubs offense has been horrible despite the 8-4 victory in game 1 on Saturday night. Since then the Cubs hitting is nowhere to be found. I have some numbers that you might be interested in and Cubs fans you better pay attention because if you Cubbies don't get it together now it's going to be over before it even gets started. Let's start with 2 of the Biggest bats on the Cubs team, Addison Russell he's only 1-for-24 so far in the series and if he can't better than that it's pretty bad. Anthony Rizzo he's only 2-for-26 in the NLCS right now there's something else that you might want to think about. The Cubs are only hitting .185 as a team in the NLCS if they keep this up this series is going to be over very quickly.

The Cubs need to get it together now. But that is not going to be easy. Here's my take, The Cubs have ran into some tough pitchers in the Dodgers rotation, KENTA MADEA, Clayton Kershaw and Rich Hill. Those are the 3 biggest problems for the Cubs right now. Kershaw I don't need to say anything you guys saw game 2 where he was just Fantastic. Rich Hill you saw his performance last night, it was incredible. I just don't know what else I can tell the Cubs except you better get going and hit some balls out of the park and at least take game 4 tonight because if the Cubs go down 3-1, and I hate like heck to say it but you can stick a fork in them because they are not hitting and they can't do anything on offense right now. So this goes to the Chicago Cubs you better do something and now or it's going to be all over again and the long suffering on the North side will continue yet Again.
