The Louisville Cardinals Are Better Than Washington & Ohio State

The Louisville Cardinals is the most complete One-Loss team in college football, and now is the time they get the respect that they deserve. Now, yes they may have a soft schedule to finish the season, but they should not be punished for that. The Cardinals can't control how Boston College, Wake Forest, Houston, and Kentucky plays. The only thing they can do is play their opponents hard and not take them for granted. Out of the four remaining teams left to play, The Kentucky Wildcats is the toughest team they face. Whether you want to believe it or not, if The Wildcats win the rest of their games this season and The Florida Gators lose to Arkansas and LSU, The Wildcats will win the woeful SEC East Division Title and most likely face Alabama in the SEC Title game. The Wildcats are also in-state rivals to the Cardinals which will make this game even tougher at the end of the season because both teams will be relevant on the College Football National Landscape. Comparing all the one loss teams, The Cardinals lost to the second best team in the country while Ohio State lost to a Penn State team that wasn't even ranked when that game took place three weeks ago. Is the BIG Ten tougher than the ACC? Yes, but Louisville does not have any control over that, their job is to go out there beat the teams that they are matched up against. When it comes to head-to-head QB battle, Lamar Jackson is playing better than The Buckeye's J.T. Barrett this season. As for the Washington Huskies, entering The Week of Saturday, November 4, 2016, The Cardinal's non-conference schedule is tougher than the Washington Huskies. Entering this week, Louisville's non-conference opponents which consist of Charlotte, Houston, and Kentucky had a combined record of 15-10 while Washington's non-conference opponents which consisted of Rutgers, Portland State, & Idaho had a combined record of 8-16. When it comes to conference strength, The ACC is arguably tougher than the PAC 12 and The College Football Playoff Committee knows that. Lamar Jackson should not have to play the whole game against Boston College for style points, he's done just enough in the 1st half to rest his body for the remainder of the season. In the first half against the Boston College Eagles, Jackson was almost perfect completing eight passes out of eleven attempts with 290 all purpose yards and 5 all-purpose touchdowns. As for the Defense, they completely shut out The Eagle's' Offense. What more must The Cardinals do to gain respect? With fall of Texas A&M, The Louisville Cardinals is The fourth best team in College Football, and now is the time for The College Football Playoff Committee to give them the respect they deserve.
