The New York Yankees should trade Nathan Eovaldi to the Pittsburgh Pirates

The New York Yankees are considering a trade to send Nathan Eovaldi to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Ryan Hatch of NJ.com reports that the Pittsburgh Pirates are very interested in trading for Nathan Eovaldi. I think the Yankees should trade Nathan Eovaldi in my opinion he has been a disappointment for the most part. Nathan has potential to be successful and maybe a fresh start in Pittsburgh will help him out. A.J Burnett turned his career around with Pirates and maybe Nathan Eovaldi will pitch better with the Pirates. However, Nathan lacks consistency and that is not something the Pirates can fix.
The Yankees should have kept Martin Prado instead of trading for Nathan Eovaldi. However, they believed that Nathan would develop into a great pitcher in New York. The Yankees now need to start selling players and get ready for the 2017 free agency. I hope the Pirates offer some solid prospects that will help the Yankees in the future. I am excited to see what moves the New York Yankees make at the MLB trade deadline.
