Well It Looks Like Ezekiel Elliott Is Going To Be With The Dallas Cowboys For Another Six-Years. Elliott Signed a Six-Year $90 Million Contract Extension With The Dallas Cowboys, And That Includes $50 Million Guaranteed. Now Think About This For a Second Why In The World Would Zeke Elliott Want That Much, His Answer Was Very Simple.

" It's Very Important To Me To Be The Highest Paid Running Back In The NFL, And Because I Believe That I'm The Best."

Ezekiel Elliott Returned To Practice For The First Time In a Long Time, And His First Practice Was Shaky Because He Was Outside In The Heat And Humidity. Zeke Also Said Jokingly, " ATT Stadium Is Air Condition So I Won't Have To Worry About Being In The Heat For The First Game Of The Season."

The Cowboys Open The Season Against The New York Giants On Sunday Afternoon. Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett Said That "Zeke Will Be Ready."

Garrett Also Said This To Reporters " Zeke Has Been Out For a Long Time, And Yes, We Will Need To Get Him Up To Speed On What's What. But As Far As Football IQ He Can Get Up To Speed Very Quickly. And That's What I Need From Him Right Now."

Here's My Take..

Ezekiel Elliott Better Have a Career Year In 2019, I Want To See What He Can Do On The Football Field. Yes He Got What He Wanted, But He Better Perform On Sunday And Prove That Here's Worth $90 Million And $50 Million Guaranteed. He's With The Dallas Cowboys For Six-Years. Now I Want To Say This To Ezekiel Elliott, Hey Zeke, You Better Put Up Numbers Like You Did When You Were At Ohio State Because That's What The Cowboys, Jerry Jones And Head Coach Jason Garrett Want To See. They Do Not Want To See The Running Back That Just Does His Thing And Say, Well Maybe Next Time, They Want To See The Fire That You Had At Ohio State.

So In My Opinion You Better Put Up Emmitt Smith Type Numbers Every Single Sunday You Play Because That's The Only Way You Will Prove To Me That You're Worth $90 Million. And The Bottom Line Is This, It's Going To Comeback To Haunt Jerry Jones If Zeke Either Gets Hurt Or Wants To Be Traded. So I Think That Jerry Jones May Have Bitten Off a Little More Than He Can Chew By Giving Zeke All That Money. Let's Just Face It The Cowboys Front Office Gave Zeke Elliott a King's Ransom, And That's The Truth.

Bottom Line..
