The sport of College Basketball along with the BIG-12 suffered a major black eye on Tuesday Night. The Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas Jayhawks held their rivalry game at Allen Fieldhouse and the Jayhawks won the game 81-60.

But before the end of the game there was a huge brawl between Kansas State and Kansas that was the headline grabber.

Here's what happened..

There was just a few seconds left in this blowout and the Jayhawks were just running out the clock. Kansas State Player Dajuan Gordon, stole the ball and went for a layup. Kansas star Silvio De Sousa, blocked the shot and Stood over Gordon in a taunting manner. Gordon got up and started throwing punches and then the benches emptied.

Kansas State players Antonio Gordon, and David Sloan went after De Sousa and they started throwing punches and then it got really ugly. The fight spilled into the handicap seating area behind the Kansas State basket, fans were forced to scramble for safety then the most shocking moment of the brawl happened.

Silvio De Sousa picked up a stool with the intent to throw it. Kansas Assistant Coach Jerrance Howard took the stool away form De Sousa before he had the chance to use it or throw it, De Sousa is in some major trouble.

Kansas State's James Love and David Sloan got into a fight with Kansas Marcus Garrett and David McCormack behind the basket. It was so bad that not only coaches form both teams had to break up the melee, the local police had to be brought in to help break it up.

The fight was finally broken up, however the game was not over. Under a new rule in College Basketball, the game had to be completed. So what happened was the original five players form both teams that were out on the court before the fight we summonsed back out onto the court for two free throws to be shot and to run out one second.

The Game finally ended, but not before a black eye came down on College Basketball.

Kansas head coach Bill Self said he was "embarrassed over the whole situation. He also went on to say " I am very disappointed in my players on the way they conducted themselves and there will be some major repercussions after I view the tape."

Kansas Athletic Director Jeff Long said " This is not who we are at Kansas. I am very disappointed and ashamed of what happened between these two rivals. I will review the tape along with coach Self and will go form there."

Kansas State head coach Bruce Weber said " I am not happy at all about the way we behaved at the end of that game. I told my players just finish the game and get out of here. I don't want to talk about it any further.

This is the way I have the suspensions going, and believe me there will be plenty of them.

Kansas-Marcus Garrett, he threw some punches and got into it with a couple of KSU Players. My opinion on his suspension, 6 or 7 games.

Kansas-David McCormack, he threw some punches and him and Garrett are just as equal. My opinion on his suspension, 6 or 7 games.

Kansas State-Antonio Gordon, he went after De Sousa and started throwing punches and got into a brawl behind the basket. My Opinion on his suspension 5-to-7 games.

Kansas State- David Sloan, just like Gordon, Sloan also went after De Sousa and threw some haymakers and they got into it. My opinion on his suspension 5-to-7 games.

Kansas State- James Love, he was in the majority of the brawl with Garrett and McCormack and he threw punches. My opinion on his suspension, 6-to-8 games.

Now the two that started the whole thing..

Dajuan Gordon, he got up and threw some punches that landed and that's when the fight spilled over and he was in the middle for the majority of the fight. I know he was on the receiving end. But at the end of the day you need to take action. My opinion on his suspension 7-to-10 games.

Silvio De Sousa, He was the one who started the whole thing by taunting Gordon and he also picked up a stool with the intent to throw it. Oh did I mention he's also part of an FBI probe at Kansas for accepting improper benefits. My opinion on his suspension, The Rest of the Season.

Here's my take..

Both teams should be ashamed of themselves for the way they acted at the very end of the game, It was a blowout for crying out loud. We almost had a replay of the Malcae at the Palace on Tuesday Night. I know it's a rivalry game but you can not act like a horses rear end when the game is a blow out. Silvio De Sousa might as well face it, his college career is over after what happened on Tuesday Night. Kansas coach Bill Self said there will be major repercussions for what happened on Tuesday.

Now here's what I think the BIG-12 Conference should do. After all of the suspensions are announced they should put a postseason ban on both schools for what happened on Tuesday Night. Yes I will repeat it again, the BIG-12 needs to put a postseason ban on both schools for the way they acted in the final seconds of Tuesday's game.

I know everybody will not agree with me but that's how I feel right now and both schools should be ashamed of themselves and they should also have a postseason ban posted on them.

Bottom Line..
