We Could Have a Potential World Series Preview This Weekend When The New York Yankees Face The Los Angeles Dodgers At Dodgers Stadium This Weekend. The Yankees And Dodgers Are Fighting Out For The Best Record In Baseball, Right Now At The Moment The Dodgers Have a Very Slight Edge.

I Have a Preview Of All The Pitching Matchups And What To Watch Out For, And Who To Look Out For.

The Pitching Matchups..

Friday:

NYY: The Yankees Send James Paxton To The Mound On Friday Night. Paxton, Has a 9-6 Record With a 4.53 ERA And He Does Have 141 Strikeouts On The Season, However His ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been a Dismal 7.20, The Yankees Are In Trouble On Friday.

LAD: The Dodgers Send Hyun-Jin Ryu. Right Now Ryu, Is Everybody's Pick For The NL Cy Young. Ryu Has a 12-3 Record, An ERA Of Only 1.64, However His ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been 6.35.

Saturday:

NYY: The Yankees Are Sending CC Sabathia Out To The Mound On Saturday. Sabathia Has Had a Nightmare Season. Ole CC Has a 5-7 Record With a 5.01 ERA And He Only Has 87 Strikeouts On The Season. Sabathia's ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been 12.00 And In The Month Of August The ERA Has Been 6.35, OUCH!!!!.

LAD: The Dodgers Are Actually Going To Take a Chance With a Pitcher Who's Making His 3rd Ever Start. Tony Gonsolin Will Get The Start On Saturday On The Big Stage. Gonsolin Has a 1-1 Record With An ERA Of 3.00, And His ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been 2.25, Let's See How He Does Against The Yankee Lineup.

Sunday:

NYY: The Yankees Are Sending Domingo German To The Mound On Sunday. German, Has a 16-3 Record, And An ERA Of 4.15 To Go With. He Does Have 131 Strikeouts On The Season, However German's ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been a Not To Good 8.44, YIKES!!!!!.

LAD: The Dodgers Are Sending Clayton Kershaw To The mound For The Finale On Sunday Night. Kershaw, Has a 13-2 Record With a 2.71 ERA, And Old Clayton Has 147 Strikeouts On The Season. His ERA In The Last Seven Days Has Been 4.50.

The Tale Of The Tape In The Pitching Department Has Been Revealed In The Names Of The Starting Pitchers This Weekend.

TEAM ERA..

NYY- 4.62

LAD- 3.33

So On Paper Advantage Dodgers Because They Have a Future Cy Young Winner In Hyun-Jin Ryu, And Yes The Yankees Have Clayton Kershaw Going In The Finale On Sunday Night. The Yankees Pitching Has Let Them Down And Yes I Am Talking About The Starters And The Bullpen. I Can't Believe That The Yankees Organization Did Not Go Out At The Trade Deadline And Get Anybody, But That's Water Under The Dam Now.

Hitting..

Both The Yankees And Dodgers Have Power Hitters. The Difference Maker Is Going To Be Cody Bellinger Of The Dodgers Because Let's Face It He's In An MVP Race With Christian Yelich Of The Milwaukee Brewers. However They Did Have Some Struggles With The Toronto Blue Jays. The Dodgers Had To Score Three In The Ninth To Get a 3-2 Win. The Yankee Bats Have Had Trouble In Recent Series. They Spilt Against The Cleveland Indians At Yankee Stadium, Then They Hit The West Coast And Get Swept By The Oakland Athletics. I Haven't Forgotten About The A's Either.

But When It's All Said And Done The Bellinger Factor Is What Could Decide This Series Because The Big Bats Of Aaron Judge, Gary Sanchez Have Been Quiet In The Yankees Four Game Slide, And Here's What I Mean.

I Have The Three Top Hitters Form Both Teams And I Have The Numbers And You Might Not Be Surprised And Yankees Fans You Might Want To Look At All Of These.

Dodgers..

Cody Bellinger: .317/.414/.667 His OPS Is 1.082

Max Muncy: .278/.392/.493 OPS .917

Justin Turner: .281/.346/.528 OPS .889

LAD .261/.343/.479 Team OPS: .823

Opponents .226/.282/.382 OPS: .665

Yankees..

DJ Lemahieu: .334/.381/.534 His OPS: .915

Luke Voit: .278/.392/.493 OPS: .885

Gleyber Torres: .281/.346/.528 OPS: .873

NYY .272/.345/.487 Team OPS: .832

Opponents .253/.317/.453 OPS: .770

Here's My Take..

These Are The Numbers I Have Looked At And The Advantage In This East Coast Vs West Coast Showdown Goes To The Dodgers Because Of The Bellinger Factor, And Not Only That The Dodgers Have Clayton Kershaw Going In The Finale On Sunday Night And They Have Hyun-Jin Ryu Going On Friday Night. The Yankees Pitching Has Been a Nightmare As Of Late. The Bronx Bombers Have Lost Four In a Row And They Are Facing a Dodgers Team That Is Loaded.

But In All Fairness The Yankees Did Have Their Struggles Against The Toronto Blue Jays, And I Will Say This Now. This East-West Series Is Going To Be Very Interesting To Watch. A lot Of People And All Of The Sports Writers, The Audio And TV Media Have Said This Is a World Series Preview. I Am Not Sure If I Want To Go Their Just Yet Because There's Lots Of Other Teams Who May Have Their Say Like The Houston Astros Or Even The Atlanta Braves For Example.

In Closing I Will Say This, Whoever Takes 2-Of-3 Or Even Sweeps This Series Will Show Me Who Has The Better Team Going Forward. If It's The Yankees Or Dodgers We Will Know Who Has The Better Shot Going Into October.

Bottom Line!!!!!..
