The New York Yankees Took 2-Of-3 From The Los Angeles Dodgers At Dodger Stadium. The Yankees Shut Down The Dodger Power Hitters And The Yankee Pitching Was Excellent While The Dodgers Chocked On The Mound. This Series Was Supposed To Be a World Series Preview, But The Yankees Dominated.

The Final Numbers Tell The Story, So I Have a Review Of The Weekend Series And Like I Said You Will See How The Dodgers Chocked, And Yes They Got Their Clocks Cleaned.

The Yankees Sent James Paxton To The Mound To Face The Dodgers Ace Hyun-Jin Ryu. Paxton Was Fantastic While Ryu Was a Horrible Nightmare.

NYY: James Paxton, He Went 6 2/3 Innings Only Allowing 5 Hits, 2 ER, And Struck Out 11, Paxton Gets The Win.

LAD: Hyun-Jin Ryu, He Only Went 4 1/3 Innings Allowing 9 Hits, 7 ER, 3 HR, But He Did Strikeout 7 Batters. Ryu Had Only Given Up 7 Earned Runs All Year And The Yankees Got Him For 7 In One Game, Ryu Gets The Loss.

Yankees Win 10-2.

The Yankees Sent CC Sabathia To The Mound To Face The Dodger Unknow Tony Gonsolin, It Would Be Gonsolin Who Would Be The Hero Along With Kenley Jansen.

NYY: CC Sabathia, He Only Pitched 4 Innings, But He Only Gave Up 5 Hits, 2 Earned Runs, And He Did Have Seven Strikeouts, Sabathia Sadly Gets The Loss.

LAD: Tony Gonsolin, He Pitched 5 Innings Allowing Only 2 Hits, 1 HR, 2BB, And He Did Strikeout 2. Gonsolin Gets the Win.

LAD: Kenley Jansen Came In To Close Out The Game. He Pitched 1 inning In Relief And Had 2 Hits And Struck Out 3 Batters, Jansen Gets the Save.

Dodgers Win 2-1.

The Dodgers Sent One Of Their Best Pitchers In The Game In Clayton Kershaw On Sunday Night. The Yankees On The Other Hand Sent Domingo German To The Mound To Face Kershaw In The Finale, And As Usual In a Big Game Situation Clayton Kershaw, And Yes Kershaw Showed Us How He Got The Nickname Chokeshaw.

NYY: Domingo German, He Pitched 6 Solid Innings And Only Gave Up 5 Hits, 1 Home Run, 2 BB And He Struck Out 5 Batters, German Gets The Win

LAD: Clayton Kershaw, Yes He Did Pitch 7 Innings, He Did Strikeout 12 Batters, But He Gave Up 3 Home Runs On Four Hits, Kershaw Gets The Loss.

Yankees Win 5-1.

Now As Far As The Hitting Goes, You Pretty Much Saw How This Three Game Set Went. The Yankees Dominated While The Dodgers Were Just Stone Cold, And When I Mean Stone Cold, I Mean Stone Cold.

Cody Bellinger: He's Hitting .317, Bellinger Was 1-For-10 And Struck Out 5 Times. He's Supposed To Be In An MVP Race With Christian Yelich Of The Brewers, And Yes He Leads The Team In Everything, But Bellinger Went Cold, YIKES!!!!.

Max Muncy: He's Hitting .260, He Was 2-For-10 And He Struck Out 5 Times, So Much For Being a Supporting Role, OUCH!!!!!!.

Justin Turner: He's Hitting .296, He Was 2-For-11 With a Strikeout, But He Did Have 1 Home Run And 2 RBI's In The Series If That's Any Consolation.

The Three Dodgers Big Bats Were 5-For-31 With 11 Strikeouts.

DJ Lemahieu: He's Hitting .334, And Yes It Did Show Some. He Was 4-For-12 With 1 Home Run And 2RBI's, But He Did Strikeout Twice.

Gary Sanchez: He's Hitting .233, And It Did Show Some. Sanchez Was 2-For-10 With 1 Home Run, 1 RBI, But He Did Strikeout Four Times.

Gleyber Torres: He's Hitting .281, He Went 3-For-11 With 1 Home Run And 1 RBI, But He Also Struck Out Four Times.

The Three Yankees Big Bats Went 9-For-33 With 10 Strikeouts.

Now Here's My Take.

If The World Series Were To Start On Tuesday Night And If These Two Teams Were To Faceoff, I Would Take The Yankees In 6, And Here's Why. The Dodgers Pitching Was Just a Nightmare On Friday And Sunday. Hyun-Jin Ryu Was Just Awful, He Had Given Up 7 Earned Runs All Season And The Yankees Pegged Him For 7 Earn Runs On Friday. Clayton Kershaw, Yes He Did Strikeout 12 Batters, However When You Give Up 3 Home Runs You're Going To Lose 95% Of The Time. Aaron Judge Hit Some Long Balls In This Series And Yes The Yankee Pitching Was Much Better Than I Expected. But I Will Be Fair About CC Sabathia, CC Has Got To Go Deeper Into Ballgames. He Only Pitched 4 Innings On Saturday And The Yankees Had To Go Into The Bullpen Earlier Than Yankee Manager Aaron Boone Wanted To. The Yankees Starters Were Pretty Solid In This Series. I Do Have a Hunch That These Two Teams Will Meet Again In The World Series, Yes The Dodgers Were Pretty Bad In The Pitching Department. Ryu Has Got To Get Back To His Cy Young Forum And Clayton Kershaw Needs To Erase This Lose Yesterday If The Dodgers Want To Go Back To The Fall Classic.

That Sums Up This Three Game Set Between The Yankees And Dodgers And Yes I Would Seriously Take The Yankees In 6 Games If These Two Faceoff In The World Series. After What I Saw Over The Weekend You Know Why.

Bottom Line.
