Game Five Of the Stanley Cup Finals Is In the Books and the St Louis Blues Beat the Boston Bruins 2-1 In Game Five Of the Stanley Cup Finals. And Now All Of the Sudden The St Louis Blues Find Themselves Up 3-2 In the Best Of Seven Series, They Can Put It Away On Home Ice In St Louis At The Enterprise Center On Sunday Night In Game Six.

The Blues Won this Game Tonight Thanks to Three Stars, One Of the Stars Is and You Know Him Already, Jordan Binnington, He Had 38 Saves On Thursday Night. The Other Star Is and He's Becoming One Of the Usual Suspects His Name Ryan O'Reiliy, He Had One Goal and One Assist In the Game. And I know Boston Fans Will Hate Me For this But the Other Star Was David Perron He Had the Goal With the No Call Tripping Penalty That Was Not Called Which Ultimately Gave The Blues The Win In Game Five And a Chance to Put It Away In Game Six On Home Ice On Sunday Night.

But What About the Boston Burins, They Had Chances to Win the Game, Forget the No Call For a Second. Jake Debrusk Did Score But that Came With Six Minutes Left In the Game. Tuukka Rask Did Have 19 Saves In The Game. The Bruins Shot Themselves In the Foot Buy Not Scoring In the Game and they Had Plenty Of Chances and The Goal Post At Both Ends Of the Ice Took a Beating.

Zedeno Chara Did Start Game Five On Thursday Night. It Was Reported That He Suffered a Broken Jaw In Game Four. But Chara Was Back, however He Could Not Give the Bruins the Supports They Needed, Chara Was Only On the Ice For 16:42 In Game Five. He Was Not Much Of a Factor At All. Think About this For a Second, Chara Is 42 Years Old and Should Think About Retirement Because He Has Nothing Left to Prove And He wasn't Much Of a Factor Tonight.

This Is Boston Bruins Head Coach Bruce Cassidy. He Was Not Happy At All After the Game. As a Matter Of Fact He Went On a Foul Mouth Tirade after Game Five Because Of the No Call In the Third Period.

Here's What Happened...

The Game Was In the Third Period. The Blues Were Up 1-0 with 9:25 Left In The Third Period,Then While At The Bruins End Of the Ice Blues Player Tyler Bozak Tripped Bruins Player Noel Acciari Causing Him To Leave The Game. And Yes It was Obvious That The Officials Missed the Call And The Blues Went On to Score and The Bruins Fans Showered the Ice With Objects And the Fans Showered the Officials With Obscene Gestures and Some Many Bad Words I Can't Repeat Them Or I will Get Site Shutdown.

Bruins Coach Bruce Cassidy Said After the Game " They Missed the F---Ing Call And Referees Should Be Held Accountable For What Happened In the Game. And Yes I Blame the Officials For What Happened Tonight.

Here's My Take and Bruce Cassidy You Might Want to Read this Part Before You Start Pointing Fingers...

The Bruins Had Plenty Of Chances To Win Game Five. Zedno Chara Was Supposed to Be What The Bruins Needed. He Was Not Much Of a Factor In the Game. The Bruins Had Three Powerplays And they Came Up Empty. And Here Are Some Other Numbers to think About And Bruce Cassidy And Bruins Fans Might Want to Look At These Numbers.

Shots On Goal..

Boston 39

St Louis 21

Hits In The Game..

Boston 43

St Louis 34

Faceoffs Won..

St Louis 38

Boston 26

Those Are The Numbers I Looked At After Game Five. I Saw the No Call Trip, I Did See It and Yes I Do Admit It Was a Bad Call. But The Bruins Had 39 Shots On Goal In The Game and they Roughed Up The Blues With 43 Hits In Game Five. But When You Have The Blues Winning 38 Faceoffs You're In Trouble. But the Biggest Thing For Me Was the Powerplays and Coming Out Empty.

Now All Of the Sudden The St Louis Blues Have a Chance To Clinch The Cup On Home Ice On Sunday Night In Game Six. If the Blues Win the Cup It Will Be Their First Ever Stanley Cup In Franchise History. The Blues Are Doing Everything they Need to Do Score Early And Often And Jordan Binnington Is Doing Everything He Needs To Do. He Has Earned His 15th Postseason Win The Most Ever. And If the Blues Can Put It Away On Sunday Night They Will Celebrate Like No Tomorrow.

What About The Bruins, They Are In DEEP TROUBLE!!!!!!. They Have to Win the Next Two Games To Win The Cup And Yes they Have to Win Game Six On The Road and Game Seven at Home On Wednesday Night. But Since the Bruins Handed the Blues The 7-2 Beatdown In Game Three It's Been Nothing But a Nightmare. They Went 4-FOR-4 On the Power Play In Game Three Since Then The Boston Power Play Has Been Reduced to Nothing and If the Bruins Want to Comeback they Need to Do What They Did In Game Three and Go Goal Crazy On the Road and Do It Again In Game Seven At Home. They Have to Take Jordan Binnington Out of the Game Early and then The Bruins Have a Chance. But If the Don't Do Any Of these Things The Stanley Cup Will Be Hoisted After Game Six In St Louis Bottom Line.
