Royals and Eric Hosmer avoid arbitration
The Kansas City Royals and first baseman Eric Hosmer have agreed to terms on a one-year, 12.25-million dollar contract avoiding arbitration. The soon-to-be free agent lefty, is in line for a huge pay-day following the 2017 season when he hits the open market. This will in all likelihood be the last season Eric Hosmer plays as a Kansas City Royal, enjoy it.
