NFL Week 13 Look Ahead

Game of the week: Chargers (8-3) vs Steelers (7-3-1)

The game of the week by far is the LA Chargers facing the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night in Pittsburgh. The Chargers have been red hot this season, and if it wasn't for Kansas City being in their division they could easily be winning their division right now. The Steelers are 1.5 games ahead of Baltimore for the AFC North, but just lost last week to the under .500 Denver Broncos. The way the Pittsburgh offense plays is stunning sometimes, having the option of throwing the ball to WR Antonio Brown and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster or running it with RB James Conner. I believe the Steelers will win a close one, with the main reason being that LA will not have star RB Melvin Gordon due to injury.

Easiest win: Chiefs (9-2) vs Raiders (2-9)

This game isn't even fair man. The Raiders have easily been one of the worst teams this season, trading away key pieces of the team and leaving QB Derek Carr with nothing. The Chiefs though have been one of the biggest surprises this season with QB Patrick Mahomes leading the way. The Raiders defense has allowed 327 points this season, and I predict that it will be over 360 after this game. Mahomes will go for 300+ yards again, demolishing the Oakland defense. Expect Kansas City to win by at least 14 points on Sunday.

Potential upset: Browns (4-6-1) vs Texans (8-3)

I know this is probably not the potential upset most people expected. The Browns in some people's eyes are always going to be the horrible team that may get a win once or twice a season. But this season they have really turned up and already got four wins. On the other hand, Houston has been unstoppable, winning eight straight after starting the season 0-3. There is still problems in Houston though, their offensive has been leaving more to be desired. QB Deshaun Watson can only run for so long before he starts getting hit way too much. I predict the Browns will win by seven points, edging out the Texans in Houston.

I hope to see: Consistency at QB for Tampa Bay

This has been a developing story the whole season, and it keeps bringing the goods. At the start of the season, usual starting QB Jameis Winston was suspended, so Ryan Fitzpatrick played for the Buccaneers. Fitzpatrick started great, being great for the organization and for fantasy football players who had them in their squad. Then, he started throwing way too many interceptions, and Winston took back the reins. Since then, it has been back and forth who has been the starter due to inconsistency from both quarterbacks. Currently, it is Winston who will start for Tampa Bay on Sunday and we can only wait and see if he gets swapped at halftime with Fitzpatrick.
