Bonino Strikes Capitals Again

Scott Wilson gave Nick Bonino a solid touch pass in the third period and Bonino buried it home with 7:24 remaining in regulation. It was the game-winning goal and Pittsburgh defeated Washington 3 to 2.

Sidney Crosby scored both goals for the Penguins in the second-period, in a span of 1:04. Alex Ovechkin scored for the Capitals in the second period.

Evgeny Kuznetsov scored for the Capitals in the third period.

Marc-Andre Fleury made some big saves for the Penguins down the stretch, and he made 33 saves. Braden Holtby made 18 saves for Washington.
