Julian Edelman Tears ACL
New England Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman tore his ACL in his right knee in the first quarter against the Detroit Lions on Friday in a preseason game. Edelman is one of Tom Brady's favorite targets to throw to. Edelman caught 98 passes for 1,106 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns last season.
The New England Patriots have dealt with injuries before and this is nothing new to them. Brandin Cooks will probably see more balls being thrown to him. Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola, and Malcolm Mitchell could also see expanded roles as well. The Patriots also have the best tight end in football in Rob Gronkowski.
