The Golden State Warriors wanted to start the series off on the right step. They easily defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 1 of the NBA Finals 113 to 90.

Kevin Durant scored 38 points and grabbed 8 rebounds and had 8 assists for the Warriors. He dominated from start to finish and Durant is on a mission to win a championship. Steph Curry scored 28 points and had 10 assists. Draymond Green scored 9 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Lebron James scored 28 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and had 8 assists for the Cavaliers. Kyrie Irving scored 24 points. Kevin Love scored 15 points and grabbed 21 rebounds.

The main story of game was turnovers. Cleveland turned the ball over 20 times and Golden State turned it over only four times. If Cleveland didn't turn the ball over that many times tonight they could of had a chance, but they didn't.

Golden State improves to 13-0 this postseason. Game 2 is on Sunday Night in Golden State.
