Clayton Kershaw shutsout Cubs, Dodgers even NLCS at 1 game apiece

Hi everybody. Last night at Wrigley Field in Chicago Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw pitched a gem last night. Kershaw only allowed 2 hits,1 walk and had 7 strikeouts in.The Only offense for the Dodgers came courtesy of Adrian Gonzalez in the top of the 2nd with a solo Home Run of off Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks. The Dodgers evened the series at 1-game-apiece with game 3 on Tuesday night.

Kershaw pitched 7 sold innings of 2-hit ball. Kenley Jansen came in and got a 6 out save which included 4 strikeouts. It was just a very bad night offensively for both teams. The Dodgers only had the Home Run in the 2nd.  But when it was all said and done the Dodgers were only a combined 3-for-27 as a team. The Cubs were just as worse after a 8-4 victory in game 1 on Saturday, which included a Grand-slam in the 8th inning. The Cubs were only a combined 2-for-29 for game 2 last night. But what can I say when the Dodgers send their Ace out to the mound Kershaw has been lights out.

Game 3 is Tuesday night on Fox sports 1 at 8:00 eastern time. The Cubs send their Ace Jake ARRIETA to the mound. ARRIETA has an ERA of 3.00. The Dodgers send Rich Hill to the mound, Hill is 0-1 with a 6.43 ERA. So with the 1st 2 games of the NLCS out of the way, This win for the Dodgers was a big win because they spilt in Chicago and Clayton Kershaw proved he's back And Back in a BIG WAY!!!!.

Clayton is back in a big way. Here's my take, If somebody would have told me that Clayton Kershaw would have been lights out in the postseason I would have said NO WAY!!!. This was the same Clayton Kershaw that missed 2 months due to a herniated disc injury in his back. I thought his season was over and I thought the Dodgers were out of it. They were 8 games back of the Red Hot San Francisco Giants. With everything going against the Dodgers they started winning games while the San Francisco Giants started to go in the wrong direction. The Dodgers won the NL west by 4 games. Then Kershaw came back in a big way in the League Division Series, 2 wins and a save against the Washington Nationals. That's impressive so their are some people who are ready to say that Kershaw will take the Dodgers to the World Series. We will see about that But this is a warning to Chicago Cubs Fans everywhere. You better hope you don't see Clayton Kershaw again in the NLCS because he was lights out and you couldn't do a thing against them. The Series moves to Los Angeles for the next 3 so The Cubs need to take at least 1- of the next-2 games if they want to win the pennant or it's going to be over Again and the long suffering on the North Side of Chicago is going to continue yet again.
