Cowboys beat Buccaneers To inch closer to No.1 seed in playoffs.

Hi everybody. The Dallas Cowboys are back in a Big way. They beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-20 on Sunday night. I will say this it was not a pretty win for the Dallas Cowboys they should have won going away but Stupid Penalties and bad mismanagement almost cost Dallas Dearly. They had 2 touchdowns taken away on penalties and the field goal kicker Dan Bailey missed 2 field goals of 52 and 56 yards early in the game. But Dallas did come out with a big victory and they are 2 games up on the New York Giants for the NFC East. They are also at the moment the Number 1. Seed in the playoffs and they could clinch on Monday Night the day after Christmas. DAK Prescott lead they way by going 32-of-36 for 279 yards and he did rush for 20 yards and a touchdown. Ezekiel Elliott carried the ball 23 times for 159 yards and a touchdown. Elliott also broke the Cowboys franchise record for most rushing touchdowns by a rookie in a single season and his celebration is going to be that everybody's going to be talking about I will get to that in a minute. But the Cowboys road to the playoffs is complete now they are just waiting to see if they get the Number 1 seed so they are safe no matter what happens. Now Dallas can just Kind of sit back and watch the battle for the Number 2 seed in the Playoffs.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are now in a world of hurt. JAMIES Winston did go 17-of-35 for 247 yards with 2 touchdowns however he had 3 interceptions. And when it was all said and done the Buccaneers had 4 turnovers in the game. Winston also lost a fumble in the game as well. So with this loss to Dallas the Buccaneers chances for the playoffs have taken a big hit. They had won 5 in a row before the Dallas game on Sunday night. Now this loss will cost Tampa Bay Dearly. Now how does this hurt Tampa Bay chances. The Washington Redskins play the Carolina Panthers tonight and The Redskins own the tiebreaker because of the head to head meeting they had earlier in the season. So The Buccaneers can still get in the playoffs but they got to win out the rest of the way to get in. But they have to play better than what they did on Sunday night if they play like they did against Dallas then game over for them.  Tampa Bay plays the New Orleans Saints on Saturday and if the Buccaneers want to be in the playoffs they better get it together now.

Well as you just saw Ezekiel Elliott provided the highlight of the game. After he scored his record breaking touchdown Elliott decided to jump into the Salvation Army Kettle that was on display in Dallas. Elliott got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. But owner Jerry Jones decided to let the penalty be shown on  the Big Screen because it was something. The management for Dallas found it cute and funny but the coaching staff didn't find as amusing. Coach Jason Garrett said afterwards " you can't do stuff like that. You know how the league is they will fine him for what he did. You can't coach that any better. You can't o what he did. He's going to be fined for that and I am not a happy man about that." Ezekiel Elliott took a much different approach to what he did afterwards. He Said " I wanted to show the Salvation Army some love man because they are near and dear to my heart." He also did say that if the league fines me I will match the amount of the fine and donate it to the Salvation Army because I really do care and it's my charity and I really care about the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army got attention On Sunday Night. Here's my take, The Salvation Army should give Ezekiel Elliott a gift for what he did on Sunday Night. Yes I know the NFL will be a Grinch about it namely Commissioner Roger Goodell. He always is so money hungry that I am going to give him a new nickname. I will call him Grinch Goodell because that's what he is. He always looking for ways to fatten his already fat Pocketbook and he finds anyway to fine players for anything stupid. The NFL should cut Elliott a break because it was for a good cause. It won't happen but it should. And to Zeke Elliott I will say this to you. I really did enjoy the Kettle Jump that you did. And I want to commend you for what you are willing to do. You said that your are going to match the amount of the fine that the league hands down. So for that I want to say thank you for what you are willing to do. And to Grinch Goodell I say this. Cut the Man a break it is the Christmas season so leave him alone for crying out loud.
