Indians shutout Blue Jays to take game 1 of ALCS.

Hi everybody. The Cleveland Indians Shutout the Toronto Blue Jays 2-0 to take game 1 of the ALCS in Cleveland tonight. Francisco LINDOR was the Hero with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 6th inning tonight. The Cleveland Pitching was fantastic tonight as well. Cory KLUBER gets the win tonight, he pitched 6.1 innings tonight he did allow 6 hits, 2 walks and also had 6 strikeouts. Andrew Miller was great in relief as well. he pitched 1.2 innings only allowing 1 hit and had 5 strikeouts. But it was Cody Allen who got the save tonight pitching the 9th and he got a strikeout to end the game tonight. The Indians are up 1-0 in the Series game 2 is Saturday. I'll get to that in a second but 1st I have to address the Blue Jays poor offensive performance tonight.

The Blue Jays offense was stone cold tonight In game 1. The Blue Jays had 12 strikeouts as a team. The Middle of the Batting order was horrible. Jose Bautista, Russell Martin and Troy TULOWITZKI, between the 3 of them they were a combined 1-for-11 with 6 strikeouts tonight.. And with Runners on Base the Blue Jays were only 1-for-9 tonight. This was a Blue Jays team that Dominated the Texas Rangers scoring 22 runs on 29 hits. Tonight they had no runs on 7 hits. This is the second year in a row that they were shutout in game 1 of the ALCS. The Blue Jays better get it together now or this series is going to be over before you know it.

Here's my take, the Indians didn't do much on offense either tonight. The LINDOR home run was the only offense that the Indians had all night. But the pitching was fantastic tonight. As for the Blue Jays it was a all around nightmare that they need to get out of their system now or this series is going to be over quickly before we know it. Game 2 is Saturday at 4:00 on TBS. J.A HAPP gets the start for the Toronto Blue Jays. And the Cleveland Indians will send Josh Tomlin to the mound. Can the Blue Jays get back on track or will the Indians continue to dominate with the pitching performance we saw tonight. Like I always say we will have to wait and see.
