Tennessee Titans: Two more players missing from training camp's opening day

I did not expect to be reporting on this many bad things on the first day of training camp.

With all players and coaches reporting back to St. Thomas Sports Park Tuesday afternoon, head coach Mike Vrabel broke the news that one player - undrafted rookie tackle Anthony McKinney - had opted out of playing this season.

Then, Vrabel told the media first-round pick Isaiah Wilson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and linebacker Jayon Brown was placed on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list.

Yes, that is a lot of news without the players even stepping foot on the practice field.

BUT, that is not all the news coming from the Titans camp today and guess what? I've got more bad news for you Tennessee fans.

One of the Titans' important free agent signings - Vic Beasley - who was expected to replace Cameron Wake as an edge-rusher, failed to report to the team's facility today.

According to Titans senior writer Jim Wyatt, Beasley has been placed on the Reserve/Did Not Report. Does this mean he is holding out after signing a one-year deal with Tennessee?

Perhaps. But there are no further details available right now.

The other news that emerged after Vrabel's virtual press conference earlier this afternoon was that wide receiver Corey Davis was placed on the PUP list with Brown.

Once again, there are no details as to the problem with the wideout who is entering a decisive year.

Shake off this very tough day and stay strong Titans fans!
