The Seattle Seahawks empire may come to a crumbling end as they lose another key player in the Legion of Boom, safety Kam Chancellor.

The veteran defensive back will miss the remainder of the 2017 season with a neck injury. NFL network's Garafolo reported on Good morning football telecast that Chancellor was "likely" done for 2017.

The 4x Pro Bowler's neck injury seems to be more serious than first thought as he was ruled out against Atlanta on Monday night. Head coach Pete Carroll is however not ready to rule Chancellor out:

"We're still looking at what our options are, and we'll continue to do that and evaluate what's going on," Carroll said Saturday. "We're working very closely with him on that."

Chancellor tweets out thanking fans for their thoughts and prayers.....

Seattle is now down two of their key players (Richard Sherman suffered ruptured Achilles vs Arizona in week 10) in the secondary and hope that both return fully healthy in 2018.

Is it the end of the Legion of Boom? Stay tuned!
