The Brady Delusion

Brady trying to win against the NFL.

If this was a Perry Mason episode the whole case would be wrapped up, and Tom Brady would be guilty. Luckily, for Brady it isn't a Perry Mason episode. In fact the whole case is writes itself, in fact I wonder if John Grisham is working on the Novel write now.

The book would be entitled, "The Brady Delusion" and it would go on to win a Oscar and a Golden Globe. It would star Tom Hardy as Tom Brady a man so smug and arrogant, and cheats in football to win Super Bowls. Then days pass and he realize he only as one choice, he has to hire his lawyer, and it would most likely be Matt Damon. (Rainmaker reference)

However, this case works different than a Hollywood movie or novel. Tom Brady is trying to beat an empire, the biggest on the planet. He is suing the league he plays for and that is the wrong move.

The would decide to take on the commissioner Roger Goodell, and Matthew  Mcconaughey would play Roger, and eventually underdog Tom Brady will somehow win against all odds, and smear the NFL. Did I even mention the applause he would receive? It will be glorious.

Tom Brady in real life is making a major mistake, he is fighting the league he plays for. I was starting to respect the Patriots. However, this move is about pride and not the right kind of pride.

The NFL is also very puffed up, and they would never admit they are wrong either. So, what you get is a Law and Order that distracts from pre-season football. The smart thing for Tom Brady is to take the punishment and sit out the four games. Meanwhile, the NFL should cut the punishment two games.

I hope the Patriots and the NFL settle, or this will be a long case and by then the four games might of passed us by. Whose side are you on?
