Mookie Betts and David Price were officially introduced as the newest members of the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday. Both Betts and Price were traded to the Dodgers form the Boston Red Sox two weeks ago, however there was a snag in the trade as the Red Sox prospect had an issue with his physical.

That has now been resolved and Betts and Price are now with the Dodgers organization and the Los Angeles Dodgers are now the odds on favorites to win the 2020 World Series.

Andrew Friedman, the president of baseball operations for the Dodgers said " this team is quite talented and it's the best team we've ever had." Friedman, also went on to say that "we will win the World Series and yes we have the team to start a Dynasty."

If you think about the Dodgers in 2020, they are now loaded like you wouldn't believe. Mookie Betts was the 2018 A.L. MVP, he now joins Cody Bellinger in the batting order, Bellinger, was the 2019 N.L. MVP.

David Price, was the 2012 A.L. Cy Young award winner. He now joins Clayton Kershaw, who is a three time Cy Young Award winner.

Cody Bellinger, joked around in saying that " we're going to have to find ourselves with these two guys." Clayton Kershaw was also looking forward to working with David Price.

What do David Price and Mookie Betts bring to the table.

David Price..

2019: 7-5 4.28 ERA, 128 strikeouts, he also has a 3.31 ERA in his career.

Mookie Betts:

2019: 29 home runs, 80 RBI's .295/.391/.524, OPS of .915

career: 139 home runs, .301/.374/.519, OPS of .893

That is what both of these two are bringing to Los Angeles.

Here's my take..

The Los Angeles Dodgers are going to be in the World Series in 2020, the question who will they face, as it stands right now it could be the New York Yankees. The Houston Astros I have taken out of contention because of the sign stealing scandal and the Astros could end up having a rebuilding year under new manage Dusty Baker.

Let's face it the Yankees and Dodgers are both loaded and ready to go. If both teams can stay healthy it could be the 70's all over again when these two went at it in the World Series. The last time theses two teams faced off was in 1981 when the Dodgers beat the Yankees in six games. However in 2020 it's a whole new ballgame with Bellinger and Kershaw having help in Betts and Price. Yes the Yankees have Judge and Stanton but the Dodgers are loaded a little bit more. And I do have some concerns about the Yankees rotation, I know they added Gerrit Cole because he did throw in a Bullpen session for the Yankees, but the rest of the rotation is something I want to take a real look at before I become more convinced.

My very early World Series prediction is these two will faceoff in the Fall Classic.

And the Dodgers will take it in seven games.

Bottom Line..
