Richard Sherman took to social media to thank the city and his teammate's as his time in Seattle draws to an end. Sherman will likely be traded or released in the coming days due to the teams cap space and rebuilding process. Here are some landing spots I think would fit the Pro Bowl cornerback after he is done in Seattle:

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders secondary was the worst in the NFL last season and set them back defensively, however with Sherman and Sean Smith back there it could help the young corners work with the best and groom them to be solid starters in the future. Did I mention Bruce Irvin is there and her would have familiar faces around him.

Dallas Cowboys

Dallas is young in the secondary and could use Sherman's talent back there. Orlando Scandrick is likely done in Big D, so a veteran like Sherman cloud help Dallas' pass rush and take pressure off the back end of the defense.

New York Giants

The Giants secondary is a mess right now with Eli Apple's antics and Janoris Jenkins inconsistent play, New York could use Sherman's veteran leadership to pull that unit together. If he's healthy I think he would pair good with Landon Collins.

Chicago Bears

Chicago would a definite lock if John Fox was there but I still like this situation because the Bears placed the transition tag on CB Kendall Fuller. Sherman would be a week 1 starter and could instantly upgrade this defense.

New England Patriots

Bill Belichick knows how to put the right pieces in the right places, however would he be able to deal with Sherman's mouth? This would be interesting to see and the Pats need a replacement for Malcolm Butler.

Sleeper team: Atlanta Falcons

Sherman's old defensive coordinator could jump at his former student because Atlanta runs the same scheme, which would benefit Sherman the most out of the other teams. Desmond Trufant didn't look like himself last season and would be better fit in the slot or nickel.
