Lions Stun Redskins

The Washington Redskins and the Detroit Lions have looked comfortable playing lately. They both didn't look comfortably early. However the Redskins and Lions would find their groove later on. The Detroit Lions defeated the Washington Redskins 20 to 17.  Matthew Stafford threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Anquan Boldin on a third-and-10 play with 22 seconds remaining.

Stafford threw for 266 passing yards and 1 touchdown. Boldin had 3 catches for 28 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. 

When the game was tied at 3 in the third-quarter, Zach Zenner scored on a 1-yard touchdown run. 

With the Redskins trailing 13 to 3 in the fourth-quarter, they scored two touchdowns by Rob Kelley (1-yd pass from Cousins) and Cousins 19-yard touchdown run. Cousins finished with 301 passing yards and 1 passing touchdown and 1 rushing touchdown. Jamison Crowder had 7 catches for 108 yards receiving.

The Detroit Lions will travel to the Houston Texans (4-2) next Sunday.
